Dubbo Regional Council is proud to announce that we have secured John Kundereri Moriarty AM as the key note speaker for Small Business Month in our Region. John is the talented individual responsible for the sensational indigenous designs painted over two entire Qantas jumbos: the Wunala and Nalanji Dreaming’s. His entrepreneurial journey of co-founding Australia’s leading Australian Indigenous design and strategy consultancy firm, Balarinji, will be told in an inspiring session about “Finding your Passion & Creating Successful Business”.

A few highlights of John's career include: - Co-founded and co-chairs The Nangala Project a not-for-profit initiative committed to creating sustainable opportunities for youth in Australia's remote Indigenous communities - South Australian Aboriginal Businessman of the Year in 1992 - Inducted into the Australian Design Hall of Fame in 2014 - Recipient of the Order of Australia (AM). the St Peters Citizenship Award, and the Advance Australia Award for Service to Industry and Commerce.
